Films

Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. DVD and book are both excellent, and it's available on Netflix.

Food, Inc.: "How much do we really know about the food we buy at our local supermarkets to serve our family?" Available on DVD.

Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home portrays "the awakening conscience of several people who grew up in traditional farming culture and who have now come to question the basic premises of their inherited way of life." I hope they are able to release it on DVD soon.

I have read or can recommend these books, but there are many others on these topics. I have found some of them at the library, but there is usually a waiting list.

If you want to search for them online, Abebooks has zillions of used titles.
